Silk Road in Turkmenistan

The program of tour:

1 Day. Meeting at the Check Point “Shavat”. Transfer to Kunyaurgench (110 km). Visit to the monument of Kunya-Urgench: State Historical and Architectural Reserve – Mausoleums of Tyurabek - Khanym, Soltan Tekesh and ll-Arslan, Nadjmmedi-ibn-Kubra, History Museum, Kutlug-Timur Minaret, Kurk Molla Hill. Transfer: Kunya-Urgench - Dashoguz to airport for flight to Ashgabat (120 km). Arrival in Ashgabat. Meet at the airport. Transfer to hotel, accommodation. Walk on evening city, visiting of avenue of fountains. Overnight.
2 Day. Breakfast. Transfer: Ashagabat – Kaka village – Tezhen town – Parakhat village – Mary town (350 km). On the way visiting the remains of the “Abiverd” city (middle age period). Arrival in Mary, accommodation at the hotel “Yrsgal”. After lunch visit to ancient Merv. Visiting: monuments the Erk Kala fortress and Mausoleum Muhammed-Ibn-Zeid, Lesser Gyz Kala, Ashabs cenotaphs, Gyaur Kala, Sultan Kala, Mausoleum of Soltan Sanjar, Medieval castles “Keshks”, toms of Guifari and Bureida. Return in Mary. Overnight.
3 Day. Breakfast. Transfer to Margush country (120 km from Mary, 45 last km by tracks through the desert). Visiting the country capital “Gonur” its palace, Zoroastrian temple “Temenos”, Necropolis (3000 burials). On the way visiting the Parthian fortress “Childburdj” and caravan saray “Gebekly”. Arrive in Mary, visiting the Ethnography Museum . Overnight.
4 Day. Breakfast. Transfer: Mary – Parahat village – Tezhen town – Kaka village - Ashgabat (350 km), on the way visit to Seyidjmal-et-din Mosque in Anau, was an architecural masterpiece of Timurids (XVc). Arival in Ashagabad, transfer to hotel, accommodation. Sightseeing tour in Ashgabat with visiting to Arch of Neutrality and Monument of Independence , Turkmen Carpet Museum . Transfer to hotel. Overnight.
5 Day. Transfer to airport. Departure from Ashgabat.
