Travels to Ustyurt plateau
The program of tour:
1 Day. Departure from Almaty. Arrival in Aktau city. Meeting at the airport, transfer to “Rakhat” hotel, accommodation. City sightseeing: city historical museum, orthodox church, monument to Taras Shevchenko, city square, city embankment, Melovoi cape. Night at the hotel.
2 Day. Early departure from Aktau. Transfer: Aktau – Basjira valley (280 km., country road). The road goes along Tuesu sands, near beautiful Tynymbai (H-227) and Bokty (H-165) mountains. Basjira valley is a picturesque bluff of Usturt plateau. A Big dry salty lake Karashek joins the bluff from the south-east. Here we will see the giant formations of globe-shape and petrified Sea fauna. Short walking before dinner. Night in tents.
3 Day. Breakfast. Walking around or going up the hill to see superb panorama (5 km). Transfer: Basjira valley – Aktau (280 km., country road). Our return way goes along stone galleries and columns of Akkurpa, Baisary and Kamyty valleys. Arrival in Aktau, accommodation at “Rakhat” hotel, overnight.
4 Day. Transfer to the airport and departure from Aktau to Almaty.
