Tours to Aral Sea in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan
Uzbek and Kazakh parts of Aral Sea
Program:
1 Day. Arrive in Nukus. Meeting at the airport, transfer to the hotel. Excursion in the city: visiting of a museum of arts of I.V.Savitskogo. Transfer to Khodjeily (30 km), visiting archaeological complex of Mizdakhan (Medieval mausoleums Nazlumkhan Sulu, Shamun Nabi, Khakfa Erezhep, caravan-serai White Lhanaka and antique fortress Gyaur Kala). Back to Nukus. Accommodation in the hotel Zhipek Zholy, overnight.
2 Day. Breakfast. Check out at the hotel at 07.30. Transfer: Nukus – Kungrad – village Muynak (220km). In Muynak visiting of a cemetery of the ships, at the former coast of Aral Sea, a museum of Aral Sea. In a museum there are fine masterpieces of painting of artists of Raphael Matevosjana and Faima Madgazina devoted to Aral sea and Priaralya. Lunch. After lunch transfer to Plateau Ustyurt and to coast of Aral Sea (180 km). On the way visiting burial grounds of Sarmatian tribes and canyons on Ustyurt. Walk on the coast of sea, diner and overnight at the seacoast.
3 Day. Breakfast . Transfer: plateau Ustyurt – village Karakalpakiya – check point “Karakalpakya” (uzbek-kazakh border) (450 km). Meeting at the border. Transfer: Check point “Tazhen” (Kazakh-uzbek border) – village Akjigit – village Beyneu (84 km) road a grader. Arrive in Beyneu. Accommodation at the hotel “Arna”. Overnight.
4 Day. Breakfast. Transfer: Beyneu – village Matay – village Bozoy (230 km). Arrive in Bozoy, accommodation in local house, overnight.
5 Day. Breakfast. Transfer: village Bozoy – village Kulandy – village Akbasty - Kokaral a dam – village Karateren (294 km). On a way we stop for survey settlement Àê basty which has got lost among sand Priaralye, in this settlement, local residents are engaged in fishing and cultivation of camels. The most interesting place in Àê basty, this local cemetery brought by sand which is among barchans and survey Êîê aral of a dam which has barrier off the Small and Big Aral seas. Length of a dam of 13 kilometers, grateful to a dam, the water level in Small Aral sea has risen up to a level of 42 meters . We see sluices of a dam through which blue waters from Small Aral Sea the distance up to which from a dam of 12 kilometers goes in Big Aral. Arrive in Karateren, accommodation at the guest house, overnight.
6 Day. Breakfast. Transfer: village Karateren – village Bogen – village Amanatkel – village Kombash – city Aralsk (172 km). Arrive in Aralsk. Accommodation at the hotel “Aral”. Walk on city. Visiting: city museum, old port, a monument to the four ships (one of they are a big, two of they are middle size, and fourth a little ship), a local market, city square. Returning in the hotel, Overnight .
7 Day . Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to railway station. Departure by train.
Please, attention!
1. In hotel "Aral" in Aralsk there are only two rooms "Suite" in which there is a shower with «Ariston» and a toilet (these rooms often happen are borrowed). In other standard roomss there is no soul, there is a washstand with cold water and a toilet, hot water in rooms is not present. On one of floors of hotel there is a bath in which it is possible to be washed.
2. The toilet in the guest house is in settlement Karateren outside of the house. The soul in the house is not present, there is a bath in which it is possible to be washed by hot water. For a lodging for the night in the guest house to you will suggest to be placed on a floor in the house on mattresses with bed linen in a separate room. The guest house, is the house in which there live also owners of this house.
